Our Commitment
The LASU FOCIT Alumni Association is committed to providing a welcoming, inclusive, and professional environment for all members — regardless of graduation year, career level, gender, ethnicity, religion, or background. This code of conduct applies to all interactions on the platform and at association events.
Expected Behaviour
- Treat all members with respect and professionalism
- Provide honest and accurate information in your profile and submissions
- Engage constructively in discussions and feedback
- Respect the privacy and boundaries of other members
- Support and uplift fellow alumni, especially students and recent graduates
- Report concerns or violations to the association leadership
Unacceptable Behaviour
- Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination of any kind
- Sharing misleading or false information
- Unsolicited commercial solicitation or spam
- Sharing other members' private information without consent
- Using the platform for political campaigning or religious proselytising
- Any behaviour that undermines the professional reputation of the association
Mentorship Guidelines
Mentors and mentees are expected to maintain professional boundaries, respect each other's time, and communicate openly about expectations. Mentorship relationships facilitated through this platform are voluntary and should remain focused on professional and career development.
Enforcement
Violations of this code of conduct may result in content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from the platform, at the discretion of the association leadership. All reports are taken seriously and handled confidentially.
