Our Governance Framework

The LASU FOCIT Alumni Association is governed by an elected Executive Committee, supported by standing committees, and guided by a constitution that ensures transparency, accountability, and democratic participation.

Elections are held periodically according to the association's bylaws. All financial records are maintained transparently and annual reports are made available to the membership.

Overall leadership and strategic direction of the association. Comprises the President, Vice President, General Secretary, Financial Secretary, Treasurer, and PRO.

Membership & Verification Committee

Handles alumni verification, membership onboarding, and maintaining the integrity of the alumni directory.

Mentorship & Career Committee

Manages the mentorship programme, career events, and industry partnership initiatives.

Events & Programs Committee

Plans and coordinates all association events including reunions, webinars, tech talks, and community meetups.

Finance & Fundraising Committee

Oversees financial management, donation campaigns, sponsorship acquisition, and budget allocation.

Communications & Content Committee

Manages the association's digital presence, newsletters, social media, and alumni spotlight stories.
